COAX is a New York fragrance and lifestyle brand built on

a simple idea: scent should feel personal, not performative.
 

We design and hand-craft elegant, gender neutral fragrances and home goods with a modern, minimalist sensibility — made in small batches in Brooklyn, New York, with clean,
non-toxic, eco-conscious ingredients and packaging.​

 

THE FOUNDER​

​

COAX was founded by Timothy,
who was born and raised in southern Taiwan. As a child,
he spent his afternoons in his parents' tea shop,
surrounded by the aroma of fresh tea leaves —
an early, unknowing education in scent.

​

He later moved to Los Angeles to study design at
Art Center College of Design, then traveled the world
before landing in New York City, where he discovered
niche perfume and found his calling.

That collision of design, travel, and New York's creative energy — COAX was born.
